Day 1

Arrival - Transfer to Darjeeling

Arrive in NJP railway station or Bagdogra Airport (IXB) and head to Darjeeling which is a drive of around 3 hours. The evening is free for you to spend at leisure. Enjoy a walk in Mall Road and Chowrasta or visit the Nightingale Park (Shrubbery Park).

Day 2

Darjeeling sightseeing

You will be visiting 3 places between 4 am and 8 am. Proceed for the early morning tour to Tiger Hills (at around at 4 am) for a sunrise view over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather). On your way back visit Batasia Loop & Ghoom Monastery. After a sumptuous breakfast, you will visit 7 places between 9:30 am and 3 pm. Proceed for the city tour of Darjeeling and visit Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tea Garden, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda and ropeway. The evening is free for other activities. Have a pleasant overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3

Mirik excursion

One-day tour (8:00 am – 05:30 pm) After breakfast start for an excursion to Mirik Lake which is 50 km from Darjeeling. Mirik is a town that is famous for the man-made Sumendu Lake, cardamom plantations and tea estates. The walk on the 3.5 km long boulevard around the lake is fascinating. The 80 ft. long arch type over the bridge across the lake is a beautiful spot for exploring the lake. Boating facilities are available for tourists on a direct payment basis. The 3-4 hour drive from Darjeeling to Mirik Lake passes through pine tree forests through half the journey while the remaining half is landscaped by tea garden estates. On the way back guests can shop at the Pashupati Market (Indo Nepal Border). Note: Entry of Vehicle to Pashupati Market is restricted. Hence, customers are requested to avail Nepal taxis on direct payment locally.

Day 4

Darjeeling to Bagdogra Airport or NJP station

Return drive from Darjeeling to NJP or Bagdogra airport which is a 100 km, 4-hour drive. The trip ends at the Darjeeling NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport.
